A bit of scout uniform history- In 1943 the Boy Scouts switched from campaign hats these garrison caps, which was more similar to what American’s serving in WWII wore. Do we think they’re less practical than the brimmed campaign hats? Sure. But they look good. Just to remember to wear your sunscreen.
