Ashtrays are not just for smokers. They are snapshots of culture. We use them as candy dishes, key holders, jewelry holders, change wranglers, catch all dishes. Every place had their own, from the Playboy Club to supper clubs. And products from Goodyear tires to Fraternal organizations. The HAMMS & Fly fishing ones were staples in our lodge for the past decade. The little Wandawega Glass number is a remnant from a supper club pop up we did with Land & Sea Dept & the SOHO House.
all of our vintage goods are well loved & not perfect. Just like us.
DETAILS
➕ Ashtray 1: Fly Fishing - we think this mid-century piece was made in the 50s. It was manufactured by Hyalyn Ceramics & has a cork backer. Ashtray measures 7.25" x 7.25"
➕ Ashtray 2: Victor's - we don't know when this was made. If we had to guess we'd say 40s or 50s, but we know it's older than we are. It has three slots & it's stackable (good luck finding another one). Ashtray measures 3.5" x 1.25"
➕ Ashtray 3: Wandawega Supper Club. Ashtray measures 4.125" x 1.3.75"
➕ Ashtray 4: Hamm's. We love everything Hamm's & this one is special to us. We don't know the manufacture year, but it's worn & loved so probably extra old. Ashtray measures 6.625" x 1.5"
