Soldiers leaving Europe and the Pacific Islands after WWII purchased small trinkets to bring home to loved ones. Enterprising jewelers stateside picked up on the fad and began creating charms for all occasions. Our charms are inspired by the source of the name ‘Wandawega.’ In 1922, a Chicago real estate developer created the fictional name to capitalize on popular Native American lore. Perhaps we’re biased but it does have a certain ring to it.
